Wizard Defiant, Book One, follows along with Richard as a cadet in the Intergalactic Empire's Wizard Scout Academy. Under the not-so-loving care of his TAC officers, Richard hones various wizard scout abilities. His life takes a sudden twist when he finds himself in a place he thought only existed in fairytales or nightmares. Out of necessity, he finds himself allied with a beautiful elf that helps him acquire abilities which will serve him well in the future as a wizard scout. That is, assuming he can live long enough to get back home to use them.
